Mention West of I-5 homes in San Diego County, and you’ll find that over half the San Diego population wishes they lived there. So do I!

Of course with San Diego real estate, it matters much which city you inhabit. Most West of I-5 homes are beach close–unless you are in Pacific Beach, La Jolla and other areas where the freeway is not close to local beaches. In those cases, a West of I-5 home could be miles from the sand. Being west of the freeway has definite advantages!
Not so in cities where the freeway is close to local beaches–such as those in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside.
And West of i-5 homes can vary from a small condo blocks from the beach to a condo or home that overlooks the ocean–and prices will follow the locale.
