Can I Get a Refund for Valitar?
Hubby Mike had kept a secret about the WORLD PREMIER OF VALITAR for the last month–and one that was revealed only last night when I was hinting about reservations for dinner tonight.
You see, he had bought VIP tickets to the Valitar show in Del Mar which included VIP parking, pre-show cocktails, premium seating and yada yada.
And it’s only yada yada because I rushed home tonight from showing homes in La Costa just an hour ago to be met by Mike at the door, who was also the bearer of ugly news. Apparently the Rancho Santa Fe producers of “Valitar liquidated” and left lots of folks like us holding losing tickets.
Mike discovered the disaster by accident, when he went searching for VIP parking, and was cleverly planning his escape from the traffic at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Online, he discovered this on Facebook:
“Mark and Tatyana Remley, owners of Equustria Development and Valitar, liquidated the business last night and stopped all scheduled Valitar shows. On behalf of the hard working, dedicated cast and crew who worked tirelessly to bring you a great show, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have purchased tickets to a Valitar show, please contact Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 for a ticket refund. We ask that you please be respectful to all the innocent families, individuals, and vendors involved in the making of Valitarwhen commenting on the Valitar Facebook page.”
He already has the refund, but DAMN, I wanted to see some talented horses and horsemanship in action!
