There are luxury homes located in most communities throughout San Diego. In our North County real estate practice, though, our focus is mostly on coastal areas as well as Poway and Santaluz to the east. In almost all luxury commumities, home sales are picking up steam.
Two months ago, one of our cash buyers offered full price ($1,350M) on a single level La Costa Ridge home almost as soon as it hit the market. Another in same gated neighborhood was priced at $1,850,000 and sold within 4 days. It’s a phenomenon we are seeing across the board.
In Rancho Santa Fe, for example, homes are averaging around 187 days on market today, versus 260 days a year ago. And that’s with an average list price of $4,381,780 (as of this writing).
