I love New Orleans and have always loved the birds chirping in trees around Orleans East–with its wrought iron fencing and tall Orleanesque windows.
But you’ll find none of the mold and humidity that plagues New Orleans, because Orleans East is in coastal Carlsbad with a fairly arid climate. This is a small and genteel La Costa condo enclave that offers spacious units with fireplaces and wrought iron-laced balconies. It’s also a gated complex situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac on Pirineos and so close to the La Costa Golf Course.
Condos in Orleans East are highly-desired and I recall bidding wars for them even during the recession.
There are both one and two-bedroom models in Orleans East, which was built in 1975 and has only 30 units in the complex.
