Old or Olde Encinitas would encompass those homes closest to the beach and would by necessity include Leucadia, which is part of Encinitas and also has old homes of interest.
At one time, Olde Encinitas was a sleepy Southern California beach town that was populated with farmers, flower growers a train station– and later, surfers who helped make Encinitas the quintessential surf town.
Old Encinitas would include homes in downtown Encinitas, along the beach area in Leucadia and Cardiff homes lining Highway 101.
