When we talk about the City of Encinitas, we are generally speaking of that downtown area off Coast Highway that is populated with wonderful restaurants, beauty salons, Whole Foods Market, designer resale shops, clothing boutiques, and urban loft-style living.
Oh–and did we forget to mention the train station, the Fellowship Gardens, and several hair and spa salons?
When I’m thinking of sneaking away for an afternoon of fun and people watching, the downtown area of the City of Encinitas fits the wish to a tee. It provides the solution that Laguna Beach once provided for me many years ago when I lived in Mission Viejo.
Downtown Encinitas is alive, funky, upscale, down home and offers so much, whether one is seeking architectural advice or alternative medical treatments. It’s a diverse town that just also happens to have some of the finest beaches and surfing in the world.
Is downtown Encinitas and the City of Encinitas diverse? Does it offer something for almost everyone?
You bet it is–and YES it does!
