La Costa Valley homes are in one of the more popular communities in the La Costa Villages, which also includes La Costa Oaks, La Costa Greens and La Costa Ridge.
Reasons for the popularity of La Costa Valley include its close proximity to local beaches, the Carlsbad Forum and it own lovely Valley Club House with heated pool, tennis courts, exercise facility, pre-school, miles of trails and so much more.
La Costa Valley homes range from around 1800 square feet to well over 4000 square feet, with some having lovely ocean and/or mountain views. La Costa Valley has 1073 single family homes (no condos) contained within 11 different neighborhoods, which were built out from late 1990’s to early 2000’s. Original builders in La Costa Valley included Shea Homes, Centex Homes, K Hovnanian, Davidson Homes, Centex Homes, Greystone Homes and Kaufman and Broad (evolved to KB Homes).
La Costa Valley has its own highly rated elementary school, El Camino Creek, while middle school kids attend Oak Crest and most high school students attend La Costa Canyon, but have the option of also attending San Dieguito Academy, Crest Academy and Torrey Pines High School (though no school bus service is provided).
